Today, as a Writing Workout, I played some music while students responded on paper. You should all be able to see your grade for Writing Workouts so far on Infinite Campus. Today, students learned how to use Academic Search Premiere and MasterFile Premiere through the LMC Website. I asked students to bring at least one source related to Hamlet to class by Wednesday, September 26th. If you weren't here, please get in touch with a student here in class who took notes or Mrs. Marshall in order to find out how to use the search tools we studied today.
Today, students used the Inner Circle Guide and the Outer Circle Guide to discuss Act 5 of Hamlet. If you missed class today, you owe me an Inner Circle Guide on Act 5 with a Late or Make-Up Sheet attached to it!
Today, in class, students completed the September 20th Daily Boards. If you missed class today, check the boards to make up your assignments/activities! You missed some exciting discussion!
Today, students had the one word "despite" as a writing workout prompt. (Students asked for an example of how to turn one word into an argument. I'll try to do it with you next week!) Next, students had an inner/outer circle discussion based on Acts I-II of Hamlet. At the end of class, students turned in either an Inner Circle Guide or an Outer Circle Guide. If you missed class today, please submit an Inner Circle Guide upon your return.
