It has been so fun watching you guys take the "teacher role" over the last few days! I hope you enjoyed it, and, most importantly, I hope you learned something about both existentialist philosophy, being a consumer of text, and communicating your ideas creatively!
If you missed out on class this day, please check with Dulci, Garrett, Landon, or Collin. They taught us all about Samuel Beckett's Endgame! If you missed out on class on this day, please check with Jake G. Obviously, he didn't work alone, but he has the handouts/info on No Exit!
If you missed class on this day, you will need to check with Maggie, Cathryn, and/or Christin. They did a fabulous job teaching us all about The Stranger, by Albert Camus, and how it connects to existentialist and nihilist philosophies.
If you missed class today, you need to check with either Jordan Pike, Rhianna Avery, Amy Newkirk, Logan Batson, or Evan Birmingham to find out what you need to do to make up your participation credit for their lesson on Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis. For those of you (Waiting for Godot) who, according to our March 7th Daily Boards, are scheduled to present tomorrow, be prepared with your Existentialism Reading Project Rubric for your group, as well as your Major Works Data Sheets and any other materials which you might need.
Today, students worked in the existentialism groups that I shared in the March 7th Daily Boards. I showed students the Existentialism Reading Project Rubric. We start group presentations tomorrow!
