If you were not here today, please print a copy of Unpacking SpringBoard Assessments from the December 6th Daily Boards. Complete Part 1, attach your annotated Unit 3, Embedded Assessment 2 from your text, and staple a Late or Make-Up Work Cover Sheet to the front of everything.
It's presentation day! During this class period, Advanced English IIB students followed the December 5th Daily Boards. If you were not here, you must submit your Unit 3, Embedded Assessment 1 Packet with your Unit 3, Embedded Assessment 1 Reflections stapled to the back. In order to get full credit, you will need to stay with me after school on Monday, December 10th in order to present. You may do so alone or with your group. You will also need to fill out at least 3 columns in the table on the Unit 3 Embedded Assessment 1 Reflection handout. You can do that through your own research or through class notes.
I'm excited to see how close everyone gets to their goals! In this class period, students followed the December 4th Daily Boards. If you weren't here, you will be called out of another class for MAP make-up testing.
Homework: Since yesterday (Monday, December 3rd) was our last/second work day for it, tomorrow (Wednesday, December 5th) students present SpringBoard Unit 3, Embedded Assessment 1: Researching Culture and Community through a group (Unit 3, Embedded Assessment 1 Groups) PowerPoint or Google Presentation. When you present, I will collect your Unit 3, Embedded Assessment 1 Packet. If it is not yet completed, please do so, either with your group or independently. Also, keep an eye on deadlines for the Advanced English IIB Independent Reading Project! Your first deadline is next week! Students followed the December 3rd Daily Boards today. If you were not in class, you will need to click through the Daily Boards in order to catch up. You can do this with or without your group's contact information and/or assistance. Be prepared to present on Wednesday, December 5th!
