College Readiness through ACT Practice
Students started today with the last EOC Passage Analysis for "Straw Into Gold." Here is the question.
Students turned in the completed EOC Passage Analysis stapled to the front of the "Straw Into Gold" passage, so if you were not here, it is your responsibility to turn this in with a completed Late or Make-Up Work Cover Sheet stapled to the front of everything.
The last thing that students did in class today was take an ACT Practice test for English -- Test #67C. If you missed this, you can make it up on your own this weekend by writing your answers on notebook paper or you can wait until you return to class and I will give you a Scantron form. Either way, if you turn the test answers in after today, you must attach them to the back of a completed Late or Make-Up Work Cover Sheet.
Homework: I'm giving you the weekend to take another look at your TWIST (based on "Theme for English B")in your SpringBoard text and ensure that it's ready for me to see/check!

- A. It provides an example of the author's success with a challenging task.
- B. It describes another incident that describes the author's frustration.
- C. It describes an activity that the author feels is beyond her ability.
